The director’s notes from the fourth day of filming detail a recurring physical anomaly regarding the suit of armor used by the younger brother. It was a genuine, heavily modified 19th-century deep-sea diving shell. A sound technician’s memo dated November 12th explicitly states that the boom mics kept picking up a metallic resonance—a slow, rhythmic breathing sound—originating from inside the armor, even when it was completely hollow and disconnected from the pneumatic rigs.
