For years I struggled with constant bloating, inflammation and discomfort without really understanding why. I later found out part of this was linked to my endometriosis. I kept trying quick fixes, but the biggest changes actually came from improving my daily habits and supporting my gut and hormone health consistently because the two are closely connected. A balanced gut can help regulate estrogen, support detoxification and reduce inflammation. All of these play an important role in smoother cycles, better energy, and fewer symptoms. This becomes even more important when you live with endometriosis. Whether you have endometriosis or simply feel constantly bloated and inflamed, these habits made a huge difference for me. Save this to come back to ⬇️ 1️⃣ Eating 80–90% whole foods most of the time 2️⃣ Not excluding foods I enjoy unless they genuinely caused bloating. Strict rules and restriction can increase stress on the body and worsen inflammation 3️⃣ Removing foods I personally noticed triggered bloating (for me this was cow’s milk for a period of time. I’ve since been able to reintroduce it) 4️⃣ Eating at least 30g of fibre daily 5️⃣ Including a wide variety of vegetables 6️⃣ Adding anti inflammatory foods, spices, and herbal teas like ginger, turmeric, and peppermint 7️⃣ Supporting my gut with prebiotic and probiotic foods, plus a supplement 8️⃣ Prioritising 7+ hours of sleep each night 9️⃣ Daily movement that works for my body. For me this looks like strength training and daily walks outside 🔟 Managing stress with things like breathwork, meditation, and setting boundaries If you struggle with endometriosis, bloating, or inflammation, give these a try and thank me later 😘 #bloating #guthealth #endometriosis #endomonth #bloatinghelp
