I had a professor say my work was flagged for AI, and gave me a zero for a grade. To prove that AI checkers are flawed, I ran our emails through that same checker, and they were all flagged for AI. It’s exhausting that as a 33 year old college student- I have to constantly defend myself.

as a college student who’s never once used AI to write a paper but got accused of it, yall are the problem. hey you may not know this, but by putting this hard-working student' work through ai, it allows ai to use it as future reference and data for other prompts, and I can guarantee your student didnt consent to having her work used like that.

I doubt you’re a actually a teacher if you’re this lazy, but I really hope you’re fired if you are. Ai detectors are known to be inaccurate, and a majority of them even have guidelines on not using them to determine grades.

This is so sad. There’s a literary crisis, and teachers are using AI to make sure their students don’t use AI. Also feeding all of their hard work directly into AI to use as future prompts mind you.

Ai detectors are not even accurate some teachers will flag ai if it’s 100% no ai detected because it shows they used it and changed stuff tell it shows nothing 8% seems very legit

i bet atleast $200 if someone ran through a paper i wrote in middle/high school before AI it would still flag as AI. theres only so many ways to form words into a sentence before its been done before

I ran my almost 30 year old essays through AI and it said it was about 40% to 60% AI. AI is wrong in so many cases, it's disturbing.

if u'd pay attention to ur students capabilities and methods then maybe u could easily spot if their work is ai or not. these tools are so bullshit at detecting human work, if u write it in a temporary document and then paste it to the final one it already flags as 100% ai, not to mention the fact that they can use these works as data collection, meaning even more essays in the future will be flagged as ai made.

AI solution manager here - I live off creating AI solutions and educating people on AI. AI detection software is completely unreliable and should never be used to base grades on, it WILL flagg real papers as AI.
