Former campus officer Chris Bagley testified that when he first reached the rooftop he found what appeared to be a “sniper pad” and a screwdriver, but he did not observe a spent shell casing during that initial search. Prosecutors maintain that a fired casing was later recovered and linked through forensic evidence, so exactly when and where it was recovered will likely become an important issue moving forward. 2. Investigators walked through Robinson’s movements The prosecution introduced surveillance evidence they say tracks Tyler Robinson on campus multiple times before the shooting and links him to a silver Dodge Challenger. Investigators used numerous surveillance cameras to reconstruct the timeline. 3. DNA evidence remains a major part of the prosecution’s case Although much of today’s testimony focused on the scene, prosecutors reiterated that they intend to rely on DNA evidence allegedly found on the rifle, ammunition and other items recovered during the investigation. 4.
