she was not taken into custody get the facts right . she clearly stood her ground , had he not approached her repeatedly he'd be alive today . It was not OK for a gun to be drawn initially, however she protected herself ,while informing him if he continued to approach her she would shoot . Leave people alone and as a 62 year old veteran he tried to intimidate her while provoking her. NOT OK

As a veteran, he should have known better. I also don’t think he thought a woman would really shoot him or defend herself. I doubt he would have been moving the same if it was a man holding that gun. Would the headlines and conversations we are having now be the same if it was a Black man that shot a white woman? She told him to back off several times. The law is clear in Florida. We are only having this conversation because the person who did the shooting was Black woman and the person killed was a white man. PS, @ConspiraTea, im not directing my anger at you. I know you asked for our take. I’m just so tired of this type of justice talk on these situations.

I didn’t realize what I was stand your ground meaning get out of the car and point the gun at somebody because they parked weird like one that’s kind of weird behavior. And the guy walking towards her with her pointing the gun like he didn’t think she would or he just thought he was invincible? Either way I found it weird that she got out the car without him being confronting her unless he did and we don’t know, but even so she was in her vehicle. She could’ve just drove away. But I could be wrong.

Over a mf parking spot… ppl are LOSING THEIR MINDS. The word self-defense is being used too loosely. Nobody looked to be in danger, except the man with the gun being pointed at him. Bsfr an old ass man walking toward you like that you’re really gonna be in fear for your life in broad daylight? People get trigger-happy and want an excuse to use their weapons. Ppl have lost the understanding of how important a human life is. ANY and ALL human life. Just because you don’t like somebody or they piss you off does not give you entitlement to take their fucking life. Disgusting.
