This was originally where they put water dispensers before shifting it to outside of the fridge. My grandparents had a fridge like this in the 80’s.

lol these were actually cheaper than the outside water dispenser ones when we bought our fridge a couple of years ago. I thought it was terrible to have to open the fridge and get it from the side every time you need water. It’s a huge pain for pitchers too

Lol! I pet sit two bengal cats and part of their instructions are to give them water from this same kind of water dispenser in the fridge in their bowl every day. Fresh, crisp, fancy fridge water. 💅🏼
