This is all true. But honestly some accountability needs to be placed on Ronaldo. If you’re Ronaldo you should know you’re way past your best and that the team built around a version of yourself that no longer exists. He also knows that the federation and manager can’t really not call him up because of political and financial reasons. He really should’ve retired from international football after Qatar if he cared about Portugal’s performance.
