@khloes.fight: PM Update on Khloe 💜 Today was a good day for our sweet Khloe, and we are so thankful for another step forward. Today, her doctors tested whether she could breathe without the ventilator by switching her to CPAP and turning off the ventilator. Khloe breathed completely on her own for one full hour, and her oxygen levels stayed at 100% the entire time! This was such an encouraging milestone. Tomorrow, the plan is to remove the ventilator completely. Please continue praying that everything goes smoothly and that Khloe continues to breathe strong on her own. Her sedation medications are also continuing to be weaned. By tomorrow, she will be completely off Ketamine. Although the medication will remain in her system until about next Wednesday, this is another important step in allowing her body and brain to continue waking up. We are also seeing signs that Khloe is becoming more alert. She is starting to have more periods of awareness, and each little sign of her coming back to us feels like a precious gift. We know her journey is still just beginning, but these moments give us hope and remind us to celebrate every step forward. The next focus will be starting feedings and continuing to support her growth and healing. The doctors are still anticipating that Khloe will remain in the hospital for about another month, but they are pleased with the progress she is making. We know there is still a long road ahead, but today gave us another reason to hope. Thank you all for your continued prayers, love, encouragement, and support.
