Ladies, please change this way of thinking. He can’t control what some man may do, but he can protect and prepare his daughter for certain situations.

As much as I hate this, thank you for sharing this bc I wasn’t sure what precautions I should take. I just started my first retail job today after leaving my last job due to being harassed constantly

That’s hilarious because it’s actually men that need to be cautious and not be alone in an office with female coworkers.

I had a creep customer for a while when I was about 17-18. He was at least 30. He'd follow me around the store and continue asking me over and over if I'd like to go on dates, which would eventually become "just hang outs". I grew up in a household where I knew what that meant already. He only stopped creeping on me when I told him it was against company policy for me to see him outside of company time. It was a load of shit but he believed it. He listened to a policy that he doesn't even know really exists faster than he listened to the countless times I said no. When I eventually told my manager about him, he was appalled and told me to tell him whenever the creep comes back and gives me to creeps again. I hope you have a coworker or management like the manager I have xx

He’s not taking up for anyone, he’s protecting his daughter the only way he’s able to while she’s at work

Appreciate those who care for you. If something happens to you, they won't be able to forgive themselves because they'll feel like they didn't protect you enough. 🫶

Her dad is a keeper. She should listen. There is diff between control and care. Control likely intend to kill your self esteem. Care about you is intended to give you self awareness about harsh realities.

My daddy would also sit outside my job an hour before I got off work to make sure I got to my car safely. I was 17 working at a subway alone at night in a mall.
