@jumbojetaviation: November 24 1971 a man, calling himself Dan Cooper, hijacked Northwest airlines Boeing727 en route from Portland to Seattle. He told Cabin crew that he had a bomb demanding 200000$ and parachute. After releasing passangers in Seattle he told pilots to fly to the Mexico City. After taking off from Seattle he opened a back air stairs (it can be opened in flight on 727) and jumped with parachute and money.
