If you live in a country where there is a decent football culture, just support your local team. It is so much better than supporting a team who wins every game. I’d rather support a team in my area in the 9th tier of football, than a club like Real Madrid or Man City. If you’re actually interested in the game, do that. I understand if the football culture in your country is weak, you could support a less connected team, but please. The local teams need you, more than you ever know.

My time to shine!!! So! Arsenal has historically been one of the most inclusive clubs in England, we fielded black players in the 80s when other teams were vocal about wanting only white players. When Arsene Wenger was hired as a manager, he changed many things, not only within arsenal but within English football as well. He was a visionary! He pushed forward a beautiful, flowing style of football with buildup play. Watching his teams was like watching music in motion, he brought in sports science and nutrition. He also bought many players from France (eg Thierry Henry) and Africa. He was villainised in the racist British press for it. Wenger famously once fielded a team of 9 black players. What that did was it made a lot of African people of that generation find a home in British football, so that has naturally translated over the years into making Arsenal the culture club. He was winning a lot as well. It was under Wenger that we had the unbeaten Invincibles team, a feat that hasn't yet been repeated in English top flight football.
