dear TOURIST, tats a big food court. they dont know you both. it is normal to pay 1st and eat. some people will just walk away without paying. so this is the rule here. u go ,u order , u pay n u enjoy the fantastic food. no harm.

normally when they serve and put the food on your table, the seller will tell you to paid straight away, thats is normal and the correct way but In this scenario the lady seller wait for you to eat and then ask you to paid..so actually this is wrong too..

The staffs were not being rude, for your information. The moment the receipt was handed over, the staff member was clearly waiting to receive payment. Instead of making the payment, she was ignored, which only made the situation unnecessarily difficult. It’s really a matter of basic common sense. In any dining establishment, the policy is usually either to pay before your meal or after you’ve finished eating. As tourists, we should respect the rules and practices of the country we are visiting instead of expecting them to adapt to us. Being a tourist does not make anyone exempt from following the establishment’s procedures. If the staff asks for payment, simply pay. Courtesy and respect should always go both ways.

I think you got it wrong. The vendor was not rude at all. Its norm to collect money once the food is served. While you have free seatings as you wish but the vendors are at a distance. What about people who eat and just leave the place?

if youre eating in an open and public space like in this video, you have to pay first. if youre eating in an enclosed restaurant, that’s when you pay after eating.

usually if eating in a very busy/ big food court, you pay b4 u eat bcos they are just 1 vendor in an establishment. Nobody is gonna monitor your payment status. Unless you are a regular & the owner knows you personally. Then its different.
