There’s an older funny movie called SuperStar the main characters name is Mary Catherine Gallagher and without even realizing your last name when you said Mary Catherine I instantly thought of that movie. 😂 Our daughter is Peyton Swayne. Peyton from One Tree Hill and Swayne is her paternal great grandparents last name. ☺️

My husband is the pickiest person alive when it comes to baby names 😅 My first girl's middle name is Virginia. That is also my middle name and several grandmothers on each side. We could not settle on a first name but I love the nickname Cass. My cat's name is Castiel and he's getting to be an old man so I was like well...if I want to keep the name alive we could name the baby Cass. Somehow my picky husband agreed to that so we named her Cassidy. 🥰😂

yes Golden /Goldie Was definitely on the girl list I have three boys too if we were to have another baby it would be way far down the line. But I have a second letter O pattern. so I have a Roderick, Donovan and Coast.

We have one child, Vivian Grae (gray/grey). My name is Madison Grace. My paternal grandmother’s name was Grace Vivian, she is how my parents met. I never got to meet her though. We dropped the “c” is Grace and named her after my granny. We miscarried in August of 2025, we named that baby “Poppy”, no middle name as the baby was the size of a poppy seed. We struggle with Secondary Infertility, PCOS/PMOS, as well and Endometriosis we can not agree on a boy name at all but if we are ever blessed with another daughter her name will be Eleanor James. Eleanor fits our “vibe” and James is my dad’s first name. We call our daughter “Vivi Grae” so we would have “Vivi Grae and Ellie J.”.

Both my girls got “hand-me-down” names. My oldest daughter, Kaylin Jane, is all middle names of the women in her life. Kaye is my middle name, Lynn is her paternal grandmother’s middle name, and Jane is her maternal grandmother’s middle name. My youngest daughter, Makayla Addison, got Kay in her name too and I love Addison from Grey’s Anatomy. I also love the meanings of their names. Kaylin means “pure” and Jane means “God is gracious”. Makayla is the female form of Micheal and means “who is like God”. I wanted a boy but oddly enough, we never picked out boy names.

Also a boy mom! We never agreed much on girls name so we were destined for boys. Our oldest is Cason Thomas (husband’s middle name is Thomas). We had another boy and his name is Carter Morgan. My maiden name is Morgan so Carter got it! So each child has one of our names!!

If for some reason I get pregnant again and have another girl her name will be Vivian Quinn. I didn’t name Ani until she was 24 hours old because I was so unsure. All of my girls have repeating letters in their name and their bdays rhyme lol.

as a l&d rn for 18yrs i have heard it all. I love your names and the current trend of naming babies is probably my favorite. people are going back to some older cute names or unique but less "crazy" names. these names ive had for 25yrs. if we had children, our girl would have been brynn (mix of lynsey and Bradley my hubby). Elliott, Monroe, Jolie, and kiann have always been my favorite for girls.
