my friend and I used to play it on nightmare difficulty with the lowest brightness. Night runs became rare pretty quick

DL1 nights were genuinely TERRIFYING. The stakes felt high when doing night missions, and the rewards were great. DL2 just didn't feel the same. DLBeast nights felt like DL1 nights, however, the rewards aren't as good
