Those pliers are multi operational you twist the dial pivot and it will change from closing to opening

Also check solenoid valves. Swap the front solenoid valve to the rear and see if problem moves

You’ll have to remove the whole drum, there might be a belt inside the drum that spins 2 counterweights that make the vibration happen. Those 6 bolts that you were trying to line up is the cover you need to remove

your going on the right direction with it being a vibratory bearing, no grease fitting to them an they go out on the regular, very common issue and I've replaced several but you're gonna have to unbolt the isolators an pull the mounting plate off the side of the machine to get better access. the drum doesn't have to come all the way out. The vibratory shaft is heavy an it will fall inside the drum
