You know what, I wouldn’t mind another agent that would be an Oni (regardless of faction) welding double swords or better yet just seeing an npc or villain being an Oni like cool idea for a future part of the story but no really executing it at all and missed opportunity for the Oni to be honest.

Hear me out, do we have an official reason to how Remielle survived the fall of the old capital or why rosecalifer was originally founded outside of the Rosetta data? The reason I wonder is because of what im aware of, we also don’t have any official reasons to Remielles and velinas pointy ears (also one of the sunbringers if im not mistaken) I feel like they could be oni hybrids that took refuge in a hidden city in the sky after/during the war. I know this is super shaky but I would like to know everyone’s opinions on it as I’m likely larping HARD 😭

Yanagi is seen leading the surviving Oni up from a staircase as she talks about the future at the end of her teaser saying that she'll "take care of them" as citizens of New Eridu, I don't think that implies Soukaku being the only one she's taking care of. We just haven't seen any of them around.

I feel like she might be the last pure oni in the new eridu area, im assuming the ones that survived the illness and war either journied to the outer ring and probably assimilated with the humans and thirens or are up in the mountains sequestered off from society due to race relations and won't come back into the story until we go to someplace cold cause in Yanagis character trailer it was a place covered in snow
