@jeffswatchlist: Starting a new series: every wild Smart Guy episode. And we're opening on the one nobody remembers, their highest-rated episode ever, about the danger of talking to strangers online, in 1998. Which episode do you remember? 🧵 #smartguy #tahjmowry #90snostalgia #90skid #internetsafety
This is why our generation possesses so much discernment. A huge amount of our media was geared toward teaching us the realities of life and it was never sugar coated.

TV shows used to be very educational and displayed “stranger danger” tactics. We weren’t on the internet as much as today. 💯

Enticing Conversation :
this was typical of the 80s and 90s the shows had a lot of "very special episodes" that were moral lessons to teach children things about dangerous events and people

And that's why us 90's early 2000 kids were so much more aware and mature. Those slow moments when the music played in the background and the parent stopped to have a serious and heartfelt conversation made a difference back then; it shaped us. We were more conscious, we developed critical thinking and over all were fed the right content and context that gave us lessons into the real world.
