Public Statement! Over the past month, we organized two major business conferences in Uganda attended by investors, entrepreneurs, and members of the Eritrean community. The purpose of these events was to share information about business opportunities, investment procedures, and Uganda’s legal and economic framework. These conferences were educational in nature, and no money was collected from any participant. It is therefore deeply concerning to see individuals attempting to misuse the credibility of these events to promote personal agendas, request money from innocent people, or create the impression that they have official authority to raise investment funds. Let me be very clear: anyone seeking investments or collecting money from the public should be able to demonstrate a legally registered business, verifiable documentation, a transparent business plan, and full compliance with Ugandan laws and regulations. No investor should send money based solely on social media posts, unofficial documents, verbal promises, or personal relationships. We have been informed that certain documents previously issued to Mr. Mulugeta have been officially retracted, and the relevant authorities have requested the return of the documentation within a specified period. This development follows concerns regarding the use of unofficial documentation and the promotion of investment activities that have raised serious questions within the community. Claims regarding coffee export projects, investment opportunities, or requests for contributions ranging from thousands of dollars should be independently verified through the appropriate authorities before anyone commits their hard-earned money. As a young Eritrean entrepreneur, media owner, and community member, I believe it is my responsibility to speak out whenever there is a risk that our people may be misled or financially harmed. Protecting our community is more important than protecting individuals who choose to operate outside transparency and accountability. Uganda remains one of the most promising destinations for business and investment in Africa. However, genuine investment must be built on legality, transparency, proper registration, and trust—not on social media hype, unofficial documents, or promises that cannot be verified. I encourage everyone to conduct due diligence, ask difficult questions, verify every claim, and work only with registered and legitimate businesses. Let us build our community through integrity, professionalism, and truth.#creatorsearchinsights #eritreantiktok🇪🇷🇪🇷habesha #siemmj #siem_mj #ugandatiktok
