Ugandans, human rights and pro democracy campaigners in the UK ended a peaceful demonstration this evening at the Uganda High Commission in London. The campaigners reaffirmed the diaspora rejection of @NRMOnline and of dictator @KagutaMuseveni's fraudulent "re-election" and called for the non-recognition of dictator Museveni's "government" by the @GOVUK @FCDOGovUK @10DowningStreet and international bodies due to democratic subversion, vote rigging, and human rights abuses in Uganda. The campaigners called for the UK and Western nations to end hypocrisy over human rights and democracy in Uganda, stop funding repression in Uganda, and to stop security and defence cooperation, including military training with the Ugandan dictatorship and impose targeted sanctions on people responsible for abuses.
