i don't know why the whole fuzz about his age, he was reborn, started from zero, sure at the starting point his past life made a difference considering he was conscious as a child but that's pretty much it his past life had no significant effects on his life afterwards really, and it does make sense considering he locked himself in his room since highschool or middle school so he really never matured or had any growth in his old life, and from another perspective one could just say he was just a child with memories of that life he never lived, in my perspective i often forget he had a past life at all considering how low of an impact it really had, if you just ignore that and get immersed in that amazing world building you'll eventually come up to realize that he is just a brat who's trying to be someone that his friends and family can rely on and be proud of him, although the writing does have flaws in my opinion (spoiler i hate the fact he went depressed for months over eris but not his father's death just because of what roxy did) but that's just how it is people have different opinions and the it's hard to write a long consistent story that appeals to all the fans, although it's sad that it's very overhated mostly by people who never even read it or watched it just following the people who did and hated it as if they don't have their own opinions but at least on the bright side that just means most of the fans are mature who don't go around review bombing other animes or hating on shows or novels before checking them out themselves, if you read to this point then you just proved my point about maturity instead of people who make fun of the length of the comment when they can just scroll past it
