mmm, that breathing analogy is so true. at a point, my love grew cold, and I was ashamed to go back to God so I immersed myself in games and movies. But no matter how much I didn't want to look up to God, he was always in my mind. the moment my attention leaves the game or the movie, he was the only one that came to mind. In the end, he brought me back to himself, but my laziness is keeping me distant from him rn

Amen. I was having this conversation with my son Sunday. Most believe that justification and glorification are works of God alone. However, when it comes to sanctification we think we do the work. I have to do this or that to clean myself up. I have to keep this or that rule. Instead of letting Holy Spirit work in you, you rely on yourself for sanctification.
