@ihatefilmbros_: his defense on bear is genuinely disturbing and disappointing. talking about how bear didn’t jump to immediately sleep with her. and was kind enough to give her space while changing…talking about the circumstances of this specific situation when obviously this is fictional story to explain womens experience and mens power. bear shouldn’t have done ANYTHING. he shouldn’t have kissed her. he shouldn’t have slept with her or let her take her top off. the second she said HER cat died and she noticed that she isn’t being herself…bear literally says SHE IS BEING WEIRD AND THAT THIS ISNT NORMAL…even if bear is awkward it doesn’t mean he isn’t capable. there is a point to this movie. and he completely glosses over it…i don’t find these jokes entertaining or funny given the movie and its themes. i am a victim of sa and i have watched him for almost 6 years now. there is a reason why bear is such a normal awkward dude if he wasn’t and he was the roaring villain from the start then personally i wouldn’t appreciate and relate to this film as much as i do. i feel bad for both of the women he has been with. that might be harsh but if u do not understand this movie and joke about it in an immature way i do NOT trust you as a safe human being. side note it also rubbed me the wrong way when he tried to blame women…like he gave a really stupid argument on how fangirls should have the same consequences as bear… what #fyp #alexmeyers #obsession #film #menarescary
