i started doing last call with my toddler. an hour before bedtime I say last call and he gets to choose his last food and drink of the day. it works 98% of the time to prevent bedtime starvation and dehydration lmfao

please let your kids have a drink at night!! I grew up in a house that didnt let me have drinks past like 8pm as a kid and now i physically can not go to bed without a full bottle of water "just in case" because I hated the feeling of being extremely thirsty and unable to sleep. 😵💫

My toddler gets a drink and a toilet trip before bed, she wants neither every night. She lays down and 15 minutes later needs a drink. 15 minutes later she needs a wee. 15 minutes later she needs a poo. 15 minutes later she needs another drink

My 4 year old will ask for water every night and when I bring her a little bottle, she’ll took it in her stuffed animals. Doesn’t drink it, sometimes she cuddles with it 😭
