easy fix. stop listening to words and start looking at actions. idc what amy politician says, i refuse to hear any of their words anymore. i just look into what theyve supported or havent supported. that info is free and accessible

democracy is a joke for a lot more reasons than that. easily manipulated by wealth(money controls popularity, popularity = power in democracy) and accountability is placed on voters instead of leadership. even monarchy looks better since you know exactly who to point your pitchforks at when things arent going well.

I think democracy works better than autocracy. Autocratic leaders have proven in the past (some present) to be something of psychopaths or narcissistic personalities, which has then caused much suffering in the lives of the laity. What if the people are taught how to spot the tell tale signs of a liar and manipulator? What if the people began to require a psychoanalysis upon the beginning of candidacy to rule out detrimental behavior disorders? Food for thought
