Those are not friends. Those are/were his ops. I always preached to my kids the buddy system. Don’t ever leave someone behind. If you go together, you leave together. Once they’re home and settled if they choose to go back out, that’s a whole ‘nother story. At any given point of the day, all five of my kids will have their cell phone on them. That’s saying they range between the ages of 21 and 29. That cell phone will be on silent, but they’ll have it with them.

Friends have a code, at least when I went to the club with friends, " we came together, we leave together". So it would make sense that if you're friends on an island that can only be reached by boat or plane, no cell service, you should or would had that same code.
