yes! I was up at 5.30 so I could water my garden before going to work. unfortunately because of the hosepipe ban it took me so long I didn't have time to get e everything watered that I wanted to 😒

There's a bit in one of the Discworld books where one of the witches tries to explain that there's bacteria in the well water because it's right beside the outdoor loo. But no one understands this (bacteria doesn't exist yet in this fantasy world). So another older witch tells the same people that there's little tiny gremlins in that well and they'll need a new one. It gets the job done. Watering in the middle of the day wastes water cos it'll evaporate quicker. But that's less exciting than "this will kill your garden"
