Çharlès :
Gabi is undeniably a well-crafted character and played a crucial role in the narrative's development. However, our dislike for her stems not from her characterization, but rather from our affection for Sasha.

I'm so happy you're a Gabi fan, she's been dragged through the mud since she first appeared by a lot of the fans.

Gabi and Eren are the same character on opposite sides of the same conflict.

I adore Gabi as a character, the only crime she committed is the offence of complexity in a war-torn world

Do I disagree with the characters choices, yes. Do I understand them, also yes. Gabi is a very well written character and my argument had always been that if the story was told from her point of view, we would have been on her side because her choices and understandable from a child in the middle of a war. The issue is they are women and women are not allowed to be 'bad' in any sense of the word unless that are punished, either within the narrative or by the fans.

I think sometimes people only know how to categorize characters as “good guy” or “bad guy”

Yea, the whole first half of season 4 was meant to show people that the Marley warrior candidates are basically the same as Eren, Armin and the gang

Erens “enemies” were titans. Gabis were humans the same as her. Falco was taught and grew up the same as her and he wasn’t as bad and was therefore not hated.

I saw a post about Gabi today where it asked “Was Sasha really your favorite before Gabi shot her? Or do you just want a reason to hate Gabi” cause I can say for sure, I felt the same about Sasha as I did about any other side character and I was sad, but I can see the bigger picture

I think Abby from TLOU2 is my favorite character ever. I hated her in the beginning but when her story unfolds, you understand why she did these things. I bawled at the end when the game forced me as Ellie, to try to KILL Abby. Man that was rough.....
