Yeah. Airships that carried about 40 people and took 4 days to cross the Atlantic Ocean was economical. A one-way ticket to cross the Atlantic Ocean on a famous 1930s airship like the LZ 129 Hindenburg or the Graf Zeppelin cost between $400 and $450. In today’s money, adjusting for inflation, this equates to roughly $7,000 to $9,000 one-way.

I think the earth is much bigger than we’re led to believe. Airships have the capability of traveling for literal days, extremely far distances. Think about those things

Do you actually think this is free?? The LZ 129 Hindenburg carried approximately 58,880 kilograms (129,808 lbs) of diesel fuel, stored in tanks along its hull. This heavy fuel powered its four 1,100-horsepower Daimler-Benz diesel engines, providing a maximum range of about 8,700 to 10,250 miles. The airship also carried roughly 4,000 kg (8,818 lbs) of motor oil for its engines....

It took 2/3 days to cross the Atlantic, carrying about 70 people. Is that even remotely viable?
