@danielmukendi_: A quick clarification. This video is not saying that eloquence is wrong. God can absolutely use eloquence, strong communication, and thoughtful illustrations. Those are gifts that can help people listen and understand. The concern is when eloquence becomes the foundation instead of Scripture. The primary assignment of a preacher is not to impress people with words, but to faithfully proclaim God’s Word. As Paul wrote, “Preach the Word” (2 Timothy 4:2). When style becomes more important than substance, people may leave remembering the preacher’s quotes but not the biblical text. The goal of preaching is that people know Christ more deeply and become rooted in His Word. If God has called you to preach, don’t wait until you think you have the perfect vocabulary. Study the Scriptures. Depend on the Holy Spirit. Explain the text faithfully. Let your eloquence, if God has given it to you, serve the Word, not replace it.
