If you learn how to position trade / swing trade (longer time frames like weekly charts) you can quite comfortably make 15-20%/year, instead of the projected 10% of the stock market. Thus you can either retire even earlier or boost your income at retirement

Have you factored in the cost of kids , the fire principle is based on living an extremely frugal existence (boring) whilst you may enjoy simple pleasures , kids aren’t that simple and in my experience require more money than you think
