It makes you unreliable. If someone takes the time to reach out to you, respect them enough to respond. Even if the answer is no. Even if you need more time. Communication builds trust and trust builds opportunities. The most successful people I have met are not the ones who disappear. They are the ones who stay on top of their emails, messages, and commitments because they understand that every conversation matters. And if you own a business but you are not actively responding to your emails, inquiries, or clients, you do not have a business. You have a hobby. Business is built on relationships. Relationships are built on communication. Reply to the email. Answer the message. Respect people's time. Professionalism is not about looking busy. It is about being dependable.
