for me, my son starting school was when he stopped being mine. before school I knew ever second of his life and what went on, then for 6 hours a day he suddenly wasn't, he learnt new phrases and habits etc. from other kids and although that is a huge privilege, my baby wasn't 100% mine anymore, he was also being molded by a whole group of people 6 hours a day. it's 100% positive, but it still made my heart ache 💔

It’s not true AT ALL. I have 4 boys, oldest going to senior this September, keep your house fun, keep the adventures exciting and keep the love flowing and those babies stay babies. I also refuse giving present that are clothes, trainers or money 😂😂 loves Lego in this house

Actually the summers during primary where they’re big enough to go on bigger adventures and stay up late and not worry about naps or sitting down to eat at set times are the best.

Not true at all. Plenty of children go to nurseries longer than school days and we don’t say they don’t stay little. Children do grow up and do change, every version of them is beautiful and fun. Just try to breathe and hang on in there 🥰

let me tell you as a reception mum this feels so true. im trying to plan craming in as much as we can this summer but everything will be so busy and rushed and its breaking my heart. we had 4 years of freedom and adventure and i feel like ive lost my little boy 😭😭😭
