As a survivor myself, and along with plenty of other women who went through the same thing, I was absolutely shocked when I saw that his book was being turned into a movie, especially this book. This books goal was to make these animalistic crimes against women be considered as love, and its working. The book has supporters, defenders, most of whom are women. Think of all the people watching the movie, watching the gun scene, the stalking, and other horrendous acts that are committed in the book. Think of the women who will watch that movie and think that those dangerous acts are 'love, and all the men watching thinking that those acts are what women enjoy. Or to reframe my statement better, young girls and boys. If this movie airs, crimes against women will only increase, thinking scenes like the gun scene are normal. Do you really want men to start shoving guns in women?? Please sign this petition, and if you can, chip in.
