If Chester hadn’t joined the band at the very beginning, Linkin Park wouldn’t exist either—Mike himself has said as much. The same applies to a scenario where Chester might have left early on or midway through the band's career. If Brad hadn’t joined, the band wouldn’t exist either. And without Joe, Linkin Park would have been completely different. What is the point of this video? To diminish the value of all the other members?

People either forget or don't want to acknowledge Mike Shinoda is the creator, the mind behind Linkin Park. I know who we miss, I love Chester❤️But Mike revived the band with some help but more importantly the fans...we showed up. We took a role as well. Dif pov, i think it's teamwork.

Linkin Park is still around today only because Mike is still here with us. If Mike had passed away before Chester, both Linkin Park and Chester might not even be around today.

Most people forget that Chester wasn’t in the band for the first few years, and that Xero (the first version of LP) was just Hahn’s beats and Mike rapping over it, and then they brought in some Rock elements before they got the iconic roster they they had from ~99-17

Finally a correct statement. Everyone talks about Chester like he was the founder, not realizing Chester was one of the last members to join linkin park in the old days.

now Mike is the reason the band was even a concept, but Chester is the reason the band made it out and became a reality

there are people who have not spoken to their parents in years yet they still check their phone hoping for a message from them. there are people who stand outside the house they grew up in after everyone moved away just to feel something familiar again. there are people who return to old conversations, old photos, old streets, old memories because the human heart was created to return to what it loves. and if the heart aches this much for people, for places, for moments that were temporary, then what do you think it was created to feel for Allah you say you will pray later like death sends warnings before it enters a room. you say you will become religious one day as if one day is written anywhere for you. but graves are filled with people who thought they had more time. there are people who laughed at night and were buried the next morning. people who made plans for next year while the angel of death was already walking toward them. and maybe that is what makes this so heavy. not because you hate prayer, but because deep down you know you were created for it. every missed prayer feels like watching a door slowly close while your soul begs you to keep it open. you were never meant to carry this dunya alone. that emptiness you feel after hours of scrolling, after the music ends, after everyone leaves, after the distractions fade, that strange silence in your chest is not random. your soul is starving. just like the body weakens without food, the soul weakens without salah. and the terrifying part is that a starving soul still learns how to smile. it still laughs. it still posts. it still talks to people. but inside, something slowly dies. shaytan does not need to make you hate Allah. he only needs to make you delay. tomorrow becomes next week. next week becomes next month. and suddenly years have passed while your prayer mat stays folded in the corner collecting dust like a forgotten memory. and every adhan becomes another reminder of the distance between you and Allah. not because Allah moved away from you, but because you kept walking away while convincing yourself you would return later. but listen carefully. Allah does not ask you to come back perfect. if perfection was required then nobody would stand in prayer. every person who bows their head before Allah is carrying something. sins. regrets. addictions. hidden battles. private pain. the masjid is not filled with perfect people. it is filled with broken people trying not to break completely. and maybe that is what prayer truly is. not the actions of perfect believers, but the desperate return of exhausted souls. imagine standing before Allah on the day of judgment while seeing every prayer you ignored. every adhan you heard but delayed. every moment Allah invited you to stand before Him while you chose something else instead. imagine realizing that the peace you spent years searching for in people, money, entertainment, relationships, status, attention, was waiting for you all along on a prayer mat. and still, after everything, Allah keeps calling you. five times a day. not because He needs you, but because you need Him. think about that. the King of every kingdom. the Creator of every star above your head. the One who hears every whisper buried inside your chest still allows you to raise your hands and say ya Allah. after every sin. after every mistake. after every disappearance. He still leaves the door open for you. so pray even if your voice shakes. pray even if your sins feel heavier than mountains. pray even if your heart feels numb. pray because one sincere sujood can change a life that years of distractions never could. pray because there will come a day when you would give everything just for one more chance to bow your head before Allah. and pray because the people closest to Allah were not the ones who never fell. they were the ones who never stopped returning.
