I hated Zion for taking Ginny away from her mom because he should have known how much Georgia and Ginny meant to each other. I understand why Zion was angry and wanted to protect Ginny after everything he learned, but separating them was heartbreaking to watch. The scene of Georgia talking to Ginny while she was intoxicated hurt even more because, despite all of Georgia's mistakes, you could see how much she missed her daughter. Seeing Ginny block her mom's calls was painful because it showed just how broken their relationship had become. I don't even know if Ginny had to worry about her phone records being checked, but either way, it felt like she was being pulled away from the person she still loved. What made the whole situation so sad is that Ginny was caught between two parents who both believed they were doing what was best for her. Instead of feeling safe, she ended up carrying the emotional weight of their decisions. No matter how complicated Georgia and Ginny's relationship is, it's clear they love each other, and watching them be separated was one of the hardest parts of the season.
