@tebecktvbamenda: A crowd of women who work as fish roasters in Bamenda staged a protest over the weekend, demanding the reinstatement of a colleague dismissed by Congelcam, a company that sells fresh fish in the city.
The protesters allege that the worker, who is Anglophone, was dismissed without just cause.
However, the Bamenda Food Market Manager for Congelcam told *TÉBECK TV* that the worker was caught on surveillance video engaging in an activity that violated company policy.
According to the manager, the worker was questioned, found guilty of the violation, and subsequently dismissed.
The protest briefly disrupted activities in the area as the women called for management to reconsider its decision.
Congelcam has not released an official public statement on the matter.

This is becoming confusing. Instead of jumping to conclusions, let’s allow the company to explain the situation clearly. We shouldn’t assume we know how to run someone else’s business better than they do. Let’s focus on seeking the truth, respecting due process, and encouraging open communication rather than spreading assumptions. Peaceful dialogue and transparency are the best ways to find lasting solutions.

I am an entrepreneur and all what I can say is that EEE to see good workers be very difficult and it takes a lot of patience and time .the economy is really hard at times managers reduce workers because the profit margin is small and at the end of the month they are unable to pay workers. mamy wuna calm down

in as much as this act is a good one my question still remains. is it not the workers that are supposed to contest? or I'm not reasoning well bc mk it mk sense to me how do u expect a company to come explain to customers how they run their company?
