@mothershipsg: The driver was arrested following the accident, which took place along Lorong 6 Toa Payoh on Jul. 7, reported Shin Min Daily News. Witnesses observed that the lorry had ignored a red light and crashed into the woman, who'd been riding a PMA. She was allegedly flung about 4 metres and lay motionless on the ground. SCDF told Mothership that it was alerted to the accident at 10:15am, and that 1 person was conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital. [Update] The 73-year-old female PMD rider subsequently passed away after she was conveyed unconscious to the hospital, the police told Mothership. Drug paraphernalia was found in the lorry, and items believed to be duty-unpaid cigarettes were found on the 34-year-old male lorry driver. Investigations are ongoing. #mothershipnews
