When you brown the ground beef: put it in the pan and mash it down with your fingers. Do not touch it or stir it or mash it up yet. Let it brown on one side. Flip it like a pancake. Let it brown. Then mash it up. There will be way less grease and so much better. Right now it is steaming in its own juices. The browning method will keep it juicy and less greasy.

Another simple and 2 ingredient meal is chicken breast with a jar of salsa in the crockpot. You can fill taco shells, tortillas or add on top of salads.

In Scotland we serve it with potato and it’s mine and tatties! We would add onion and sometimes carrot too.
