When Yeshua said “turn the other cheek” … he was not suggesting we offer another cheek to slap. In those times “the other cheek” was in reference to the backside cheeks. He literally was saying “if someone hurts you, turn around and walk away”.

My opinion is any reason to go no contact is valid. Point blank. If you don’t want someone in your life even if the reason is minute and petty, you don’t have to have them in our life. As long as you’re not using it as a manipulation tactic and it’s to protect yourself and your peace, any reason can be valid and should be respected.
