I’ll tell you exactly what it is. I just had one of those and pulled my hair out the same way. The anti-after solenoid on the carburetor was grounding out blowing that fuse. It would last one second or would last 10 seconds. I put a new solenoid in the bottom of the carburetor and it worked fine. It was the exact same generator

Get a breaker to replace the fuse until you find whatever is shorting out.

I had the same thing on mine. It was a short on the wiring at the carburetor.

You have an extra ground. Arcing to ground somewhere is drawing too many amps and popping that fuse.

If you blowing a fuse, its normally a direct short to ground. Start looking for broken, rubbed through wiring. No matter what generator you have, they never run wiring nicely. Also, generac provides schematics for free. Thats a huge help

no your popping fuses because of a short, and that one spade is connector with discoloration is a strong candidate

there's definitely a wire shorting out somewhere that's what's blowing the fuse and a ground will never cause the fuse to blow unless there's a hot wire touching the ground
