I do believe size matters. If your weight is affecting your health, your mobility, your confidence, your mental health, or your quality of life, it’s okay to want to change it. In fact, I’d encourage you to make it a priority. Not because you need to be smaller than everyone else. Not because your worth depends on your size. But because you deserve a good quality of life. What I don’t think matters is how your body compares to somebody else’s. I care that I can walk for miles without my feet hurting. I don’t care if my friend wears clothes 3 sizes smaller than me. I care that food doesn’t control my thoughts all day anymore. I don’t care whether someone else weighs less than I do. I care that I have energy, confidence and freedom. I don’t care if I never become society’s version of perfect. Health and happiness matters. Comparison doesn’t. We’re not all supposed to look the same anyway. 🤍
