Let’s be honest here, when it comes to live action remakes, people are gonna complain either way, some will hate it when it's just a shot for shot reimagining (the Lion King and Beauty and the Beast) and others get mad if they change things (Mulan, Snow White or Lilo & Stitch), There's really no pleasing everyone either way, which is why they are trying to balance both being the same and different (Cinderella and The Little Mermaid) and yet still get upset about everything nowadays just cuz y'all want something “original” even tho, Disney was never in the first place cuz the majority of their classics are taken from old storybooks and fairytales that were much darker than Disney made them out to be
