I don’t want socialism but I kind of see how they feel like a portion of the population is getting screwed by rising costs especially housing and healthcare and the government isn’t really doing anything about it and the corporations keep making prices go up. They see no other way except socialism which sounds good on paper but they don’t understand the hard realities of it

As a historian, I’ll never support socialism. However, as a historian, I know that we need policy reform including property tax reform, income tax reform, etc. As a middle class American, we aren’t necessarily even being eaten up by inflation (though it is a factor). What kills us each paycheck and at the end of each year….TAXES.
