@brianjames_official: I think comfort gets a bad reputation sometimes. There's nothing wrong with wanting a comfortable life. The problem is, comfort has a funny way of convincing you that where you are is exactly where you should stay. I know because I fell into that trap myself. After 33 years working security in cold, empty places, I got used to just getting on with it. Then I moved into corporate security, and life became meetings, emails and routines. I kept saying things like... "I'll sort it out next year." "Once things settle down a bit." "Now's not really the right time." Funny thing is, there always seemed to be another reason to wait. Before I knew it, another year had gone by. Looking back, I wasn't scared of working hard. I was scared of letting go of what felt familiar. Comfort has a funny way of making you believe you've got all the time in the world. Until one day you stop and think... "Where did all those years go?"
