Same with jirai and then I saw tweets about Japanese jirais saying like "how do you wear a pretty liz lisa dress and don't do your hair??" Or a Japanese girl wearing a jirai blouse with jeans, not even tagging it as jirai, yet the Western comm used it to say "jirai with jeans is okay!!" while the Japanese comments said it looked bad. 😭😭😭

I don’t speak Japanese and sure okay, maybe there really are some Japanese gals who don’t really mind, but I would be obtuse and it would be so ignorant to say that Japanese gyarus are monoliths and don’t also care about gyaru accuracy/historical gyaru accuracy. There’s a reason why we have 30 years of rules, tutorials, etc!
