diagnosed at 30 with Autism and ADHD here. this is very accurate to my experience growing up. I got my dream job after graduating and immediately went into autistic burnout and quit that job for one less overwhelming. can't maintain friendships or relationships. constantly exhausted but can't sleep. medicated for ADHD but that only helps me be productive enough to meet society's standards. constantly having to deal with unrealistic expectations that are often unknown to me until I fail to meet those expectations and piss people off. my whole life is a guessing game, trying to figure out what works, only for the rules to change on me and have to relearn. i don't "act" autistic (because of life long masking) so my struggles are never taken seriously. it sucks bro.

I finally got my Autism diagnosis today, after feeling different and many people saying I don’t have it. I’m officially Autistic and it’s weird but I feel more at peace now ☺️🥺🙌🏻
