💯 I coached recreation through travel for nearly 2 decades and there are a bunch of very talented kids that never get a chance to play because of money. If we are going to compete than we need a system that allows these kids to play. Well said

How about the fact that we have club teams that have coaches that also coach at private high schools, so if you don't go to the private high school and pay the tuition, you also don't play on the club team. all tied together.

We really need to demonetize youth soccer in this country. Imagine how dominant we could be if some soccer programs even offer incentives to play like a lot of American football and basketball programs do. We have to give people a way up with the game.
