@2kingel: The fact that Angel stopped talking about wanting to die after Aki saved him, and how they two changed each other for the better, is always my favorite funfact about Akiangel Aki's changing in how Angel viewed life is very important and is shown precisely in the final scene where Angel asks if life in the city was good. After this scene, through other small scenes, we also see how their relationship changed, showing a trust that didn't exist before, and even Angel becoming someone close to Aki. Their relationship is one of the best developed in CSM when it involves secondary characters. even their deaths end up being a development of their relationship. It's impossible to deny how important they both were in each other's lives, to the point that Aki risked his life again on another occasion to save Angel, and Angel tried to confront Makima herself to save Aki. The scene of their first encounter is already important because it shows that Aki trusted Angel to the point of not being afraid to get close to him, something that is demonstrated by Angel being something that most, if not all, people avoided. All of this and more makes them mean so much to me. I love Akiangel and their dynamic, and I wish I could have seen more of the wonderful development they brought to each other #chainsawman #akiangel #akihayakawa #angeldevil #doomedyaoi

I’m pretty sure in the manga he says “I don’t want to follow a city boy like you” which to me feels so much more romantic for some reason
