Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). 2. Pat the brisket dry with paper towels and trim excess fat if needed. 3. Mix the olive oil, melted butter, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, thyme, rosemary, and oregano. 4. Rub the seasoning mixture generously over the entire brisket. 5. Place the brisket fat-side up in a large roasting pan. 6. Pour the beef broth into the bottom of the pan without washing off the seasoning. 7. Cover tightly with foil and roast for 4½-5½ hours until the meat is fork-tender. 8. Remove the foil during the final 30 minutes to develop a dark, caramelized crust. 9. Baste the brisket with the pan juices once or twice during the final stage of cooking. 10. Remove from the oven and let the brisket rest for at least 20 minutes before slicing. 11. Slice against the grain for the most tender pieces. 12.
