I’m from the south Wales valleys and it’s the place I’ve felt least safe in the whole world (I travel a lot). London for me feels way safer than my hometown.

Hard agree!! NY has an unexpected structure/ predictability about it, I feel like London/ Paris/ Barc is just outlaw

I find nyc very safe. Even late at night but it depends on the area I guess. I feel like Manhattan is safe than the other boroughs

I agree with you vs London. There are way more streets where you are completely alone in London. Sometimes I would take the long route home.

stay safe Claire you know where to go and we're not to go if you go where you don't belong you might get in trouble otherwise New York is pretty safe God bless you and stay safe girl

I’ve felt pretty safe in every major city I have ever been to but I’m only ever out past 10pm on a rare occasion, and it’s always a taxi home (because I’m probably wearing unsuitable high heeled shoes if I’m out for dinner)

As a born raised New Yorker ive never felt unsafe or worried about my luxury handbag or anything in general. If you walk in fear then thats what your putting out and people pick that up. Walk like you belong.
